Naval surgery will be demonstrated at Port Columbus on the weekend of July 4th. This event is always one of the most popular programs at the Naval Museum. Demonstrations will be run periodically both Saturday and Sunday, and then the good Doctor will be available to interact with visitors for the rest of the time the museum is open.

Sunday's demonstrations will be at 1 and 3 p.m. with a cannon firing at 2 p.m.

All of this is slated to be indoors, where it is cool, which makes it part of the museum's "Cool History" program, sponsored by Aflac.
