Civil War Era Santa.
This year's Victorian Holiday Open House will be held December 4 and 5, 2009. As always, this event will feature our authentic Civil-War era Santa, and as our gift to the public, admission is FREE.
America's first unique Santa Claus will be makes an appearance each December at Port Columbus. "Santa as we know him first appeared in Christmas 1862, at an army camp to pass out presents to soldiers," said museum Executive Director Bruce Smith
